On my own

On the last day of our travel in Kathmandu (last week).... I was on my own... I totally love spending time on my own... Walking the unknown paths, spending time thinking, meditating, watching the skies...

Here is where I spent half an hour.... or more....

One travels more usefully when alone, because he reflects more.

If you are facing in the right direction, all you need to do is keep on walking.

- Buddhist saying

Our life is an endless journey; it is like a broad highway that extends infinitely into the distance. The practice of meditation provides a vehicle to travel on that road. Our journey consists of constant ups and downs ...

- Chogyam Trungpa

Do not go where the path may lead;

go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

.... and with the mountains ahead of me... I could see my path clearly...

I sat and watched these monks... for a long long time... It was lovely to see them have their own time.. clicking pics of themselves... of plants... and other things around them...

... I had a fabulous time... and I want to go back...
